ZARA!

The commitment that I intended to create this blog is to show you that living in an environmentally responsible manner is EASY. Just stop to think a little ... and when the desire is irresistible shopping, just go to shops that have a stated environmental policy or purchase ecofriendly products, as already reviewed the SIGG bottles.
Not all brands of clothing they care about the environment, SAD BUT TRUE.

And not everyone is willing to turn to shopping and before you succumb to the temptation of a purchase, ask if the company that you are giving some money to be eco-oriented.

But to help go towards buying more aware I'm on it!

And today I want to reassure us on ZARA .

Who does not know the stores Zara? Friends of fashion, friends of the portfolio, friends of our shopping rampage?
I believe that this chain is more or less everywhere ... and in general, when a mark is spreading like wildfire, I tend to turn up their noses ... as suspicious as I am, I wonder if it depends on so large a success by policies of exploitation of child labor, use of inferior materials and so on and so forth.

But then Zara is ready to be surprised ... and your site is launched in important statements of a certain weight, which to date have not yet been disproved.

With its business model, Zara wants contribute to the sustainable development of society and the environment. Commitment to the Environment is inscribed within the corporate responsibility policy of the Inditex group, which was published on the website: www.inditex.com. And here

achievements and goals on which Zara is working:
-Saving energy through eco-efficient shop.
-reduction and recycling of waste materials.
-Awareness of Staff.
-production also understood in ecological fabrics such as organic cotton.
footwear Manufacture of PVC-free (ie, no unhealthy plasticoni)
-Using biodiesel fuel for the fleet of trucks that carry hills (CO2 reduction)
-The leather used comes from herds of food animals.

can be considered quite happy, no? Sure, you can improve, but it seems a good start!

But I could not write a post without having personally tested PVC-free shoes and shirts in organic cotton, putting a little 'to test the clerks of Zara C.so Vittorio Emanuele, Milan.

Purchase # 1: Boots lightweight 100% non-animal material.
As I have stressed the clerks? I went to ask one of them as I could know the composition of the boots. The clerk selected did not know, but I was accompanied by his colleague who instead showed me how to read the label and I said, reiterating a concept already known then, that none of their shoes contains non-biodegradable, even in imitation leather.

Purchase # 2: organic cotton T-shirt with pocket

As I have stressed the job? I went to ask if there was a special section with the production of organic cotton and she said no, but that the leaders in this material are not the prerogative of a single line, but are part of all lines, then to be found among other products. Conclusion

staff after purchase of two products:
a) the clerks seem informed and aware.
b) organic cotton T-shirt is of good quality.
c) the shoes are comfortable, but not very breathable ......

This long post to tell you that, in any case, I prefer to go to Zara, knowing that there is a commitment to safeguarding the environment, rather than at any other marks of our Earth still tend to give a damn ....
So if you go to buy from Zara, you are all

APPROVED!
(including ZARA, of course)
